Dark green and slimy, I am
a frog in its natural habitat
jumping around looking for
my favorite food.
Shh… I am looking for flies.
I have to be very sneaky
to catch them.
Once they come closer and closer,
Snap! I caught it.
Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!
I always tell my mom to make me
a fly sandwich, but she says no.
I always say, “But I am so hungry
I could eat a horse,”
And she says,
“You’re too little to eat a horse.”
