Dede Fox to Read at Barnes & Noble Saturday

WITS Writer Dede Fox will read at the Barnes & Noble at The Woodlands Mall this Saturday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m. as part of the Poets Unleashed series. Poets Hallie Moore and Melissa Morphew will also be reading.

Dede-FoxDede Fox attended the University of the Americas in Mexico City and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis.  Her poetry and short pieces have appeared in Sol, Poetry Revolt, Swirl (2006-2009), Poetry at Round Top (2007-2009), A Summer’s Poems, and Texas Poetry Calendar. Dede was a juried poet at the 2007 Houston Poetry Fest, and her poem “Chapultepec Park” won the 2008 Austin International Poetry Festival. Other credits include The Treasure in the Tiny Blue Tin, a children’s novel, and nonfiction for Rand McNally and Highlights for Children. Dede is a school librarian and has taught with WITS for two years.
