It’s dark inside, I hate everything.
My darkness is taking over me.
I stay in the dark, afraid of the light.
My darkness is painful, always hurting me.
I feel depressed and all night long
I cry on my pillow a thousand times.
Abuse from my past is all coming out.
Then I feel a little sunlight on my face
It feels like hope is finally here.
It is a brighter day.
After time it’s no longer dark, it is light.
