I am center stage, the bright light, ready to dazzle the crowd,
You have open arms, full of warmth, just like the sun.
I am the soft, sweet taste of minty peppermint,
You are the bearer of the good news I wait for.
I am the leader, steering us in the right direction,
You are the calm, cool shade of the welcoming tree.
I am the soft, calming drizzle that pitter-patters on the roof,
You are the sense in my unsolved math.
I am the unexplained circle, without a center,
You are the home, ready to comfort me.
