Stones

I am trying to understand the language of stones.
Their tongues are as heavy as metal.
Their vocabularies are so hard to understand.
They know a lot, but their terms are tough.
They sing like trumpets.
They are not important because they trip me and others.
They are speakers to other rocks.
They describe the heavens and the earth.
They whisper meaningful sentences and secrets.
Their stories are like birds in the sky.
