Essay Contest for Peace

The Maltz Museum is sponsoring the STOP THE HATE! YOUTH SPEAK OUT! ESSAY CONTEST for Ohio students, and the grand prize is a $100,000 college scholarship. One 11th or 12th grade writer will receive tuition to an Ohio college/university of up to $25,000 per year (renewable for four years). Other prizes for students in grades 6-12 will be offered as well. Entry deadline for 500 word essays is December 5. Click here for the complete guidelines.

Who: Ohio middle and high school students (including home-school students) in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties.
