Writers in the Schools (WITS) has been very fortunate to work with many talented individuals over the last 25 years. There are many ways to support WITS. One way is to become an intern.
A WITS internship provides both professional development and teaching experience. Working with WITS also gives interns ample opportunities for networking with writers and teachers and other professionals in the field of creative writing.
