Writing Contest for Kids: River of Words

River of Words sponsors an environmental writing contest each year. Students in grades K-12 can enter the competition. Your entry should be either art or poetry that addresses the topic of watersheds. If you’d like to enter the contest, make sure your envelope is postmarked and mailed by Feb. 15, 2008. Here’s the address:

There is no fee to enter this contest, and the winners will be published. Before sending in your submission, make sure you read the rules and print out the application form from the River of Words website.
